Dear Bride to be,

Hello! My name is Maureen and I am a licensed cosmetologist located in sunny NE Florida. I specialize in bridal hair and makeup. As a little girl, like many, I found hair and makeup so fascinating that I would stop whatever I was doing at the moment and watch my Mama fix herself before work. At the age of 16, I took cosmetology classes in the evening while attending high school at the same time. I then interviewed and got hired the same day I completed the cosmetology course. 2003 was the year I had the opportunity to learn and grow in the beauty industry surrounded by some amazing women, who helped me get to where I am today. Fast forward to November 25, 2017 to my first bride and her maids.

I realized I found a pot of gold sitting in the heart of St. Augustine. Many couples fall in love and plan a wedding destination in the oldest city in Florida.

Let me give you a glimpse of how I help. We start off with formulating a plan for your bridal hair and makeup preview. The previews play a vital role to your overall wedding day experience. This is where you and I finally meet after our virtual chats. If you have beauty related questions, I am all ears and ready to offer my professional advice. The hair and makeup “previews" is where I can help make your bridal vision a reality. Previews take place first thing in the morning, this will help you get a realistic feel of how well your hair and makeup holds all day. When your wedding day finally arrives, hair and makeup should be the least of your worries. I find that by me bringing beauty to you alleviates half the stress of gathering everyone on a timely manner. I plan to arrive fifteen minutes before the first service, to find best spot for you and your entourage. I give detailed attention and work as close to the timeline as possible so that every bride can have their perfect overall look. This allows for me to get you and your bridal party picture perfect for the most magical day of your life.

Unlike the many high school graduates, It took me many years to figure out what I wanted to do in life.

After making a bride feel amazing on her wedding day, I experienced a revelation that sent shivers of realization down my spine. It was as though the universe had conspired to align my passion and purpose in one beautiful moment. The joy, the tears of happiness, and the sheer radiance that adorned the bride's face were tangible evidence of the impact I could have on someone's most cherished day. In that very moment, I knew that I had found my calling, and it filled my heart with a profound sense of fulfillment and purpose.

Reflecting back on my journey, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the unwavering love and support from each of my past, present, and future clients. It is their trust in my artistry and dedication that has propelled my career forward, allowing me to reach greater heights as a bridal hair and makeup artist.

One of the most precious rewards of my entrepreneurial journey is the gift of a more flexible schedule for my family. Being able to balance my professional aspirations with the cherished moments spent with my loved ones is an unparalleled privilege. Every smile I bring to a bride's face translates into an abundance of warmth and joy that I carry home to my family.

As I continue to walk this extraordinary path in the beauty industry, I am committed to learning, growing, and evolving with each experience. This blog will serve as a testament to the power of passion, the beauty of dreams fulfilled, and the magic that is woven when love and artistry collide.

To all the brides I have had the privilege of working with and to those who will grace my studio suite in the future, thank you for entrusting me with the honor of being a part of your special day. Your joy and satisfaction fuel my passion, and I am excited to create many more unforgettable memories together.

With gratitude,

Maureen
